Thank you so much for your generous support of the 2017 USA LW4x. We had a terrific experience competiting on the internal stage. It was truely an honor and priveledge to race in the red, white, and blue.
We would not have been able to make this dream a reality without your support. We cannot express this enough.
We had continued improvement throughout the regatta and were able to walk away champions of the B Final (7th overall). Although this fell short of our A-Final goal, we are a young and inexperienced crew with a newfound fire for the future.
Keep your eyes out for these fierce lightweights in the future!

Welcome to our fundraiser and thanks so much for your interest!
We are the women who will be representing the U.S. in the Women’s Lightweight Quadruple Sculls event at the 2017 World Rowing Championships in Sarasota, Fla., Sept. 24-Oct. 1.
We are incredibly honored to race as part of Team USA and compete at Worlds on home soil! We’ve been training on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia under the guidance of coaches Sean Hall and Charlie Biddle. We are working hard to gain speed and refine technique to represent well come September. To learn more about each of the women in the boat, please click on our names above.
We are also fundraising to cover the cost of preparing for and racing at Worlds. The lightweight women’s quad is a self-funded event for U.S. athletes, which means that we’re responsible for all expenses related to travel, housing, transportation, equipment and meals. The projected cost is $3,000 per athlete, totaling $15,000 for athletes and coaches combined. Any support would be greatly appreciated as we work toward achieving our goals.
We’d like to thank you in advance for your interest and any potential contributions. We’d also like the thank The Schuylkill Navy of Philadelphia, the William Penn Charter Athletics Department and Crew Team, the Shipley School, our respective clubs – Penn AC and Riverside Boat Club – and all of our friends and families for their love and support. We can’t wait for you to see us line-up at Worlds!

Hey friends!
We've got one more fundraising event planned before heading south. Wissakickon Brewing Co. in East Falls has generoulsy offered to host our Trivia Night. We're psyched! Come hang out with us and the men's 4x, have some food, drink some beer and get your game face on for team trivia!

We have so many people to thank!
First, thank you to everyone who contributed to our campaign so far. You guys are awesome and we sincerely appreciate the support. We're well on our way to meeting our fundraising goal.
Second, thank you Sabina Pierce, photographer extraordinaire, masters rower at Penn AC and champion of our light women's quad! Sabina came out in the launch last week and took some awesome photos of us training, including the one here!
Third, huge thanks to everyone who came to the event at Murphy's on Saturday. We had a great turnout. I (Cara) was honestly overwhelmed to see so many friends and fellow rowers come out and show their support. We hope you had a great time!
We're heading to Princeton tomorrow early morning for some pieces on Carnegie Lake. Training is going well. We've been working on sharpness and timing at the ends of the stroke, and are constantly seeking to move the boat better and make technical gains.
We're planning one more fundraising event - a Trivia Night, which will take place at Penn AC on Sept. 8th. Save the date, more details to come.
